Fruit Parfait!

What would a superhero be without their SUPERFOODS? You may be asking, “what the heck is a superfood?” Well, a superfood is a food, like watermelon or blueberries, that is PACKED with vitamins and nutrients. The weather is getting cooler and the days are getting shorter here at NEAAAT and sometimes breakfast isn’t easy. So! A quick and easy breakfast, that is made of multiple superfoods, is a yogurt parfait! Yogurt parfait is a fancy term for breakfast yogurt with toppings. Tools :

  • Containers to eat out of.
  • Spoons
  • A knife
  • A cutting board

Ingredients :

  • Greek yogurt
  • Granola (or honey bunches of oats cereal)
  • Fresh Fruits

Step 1.  Cut your fresh fruit (leave little fruits like blueberries whole) put the different fruits in different bowls.

Step 2. Start laying your yogurt and fruit. Put a thin layer of yogurt down at the cup, add some fruit, then add more yogurt, then fruit.

Step 3. Repeat this until the cup is full!

Step 4. Top with granola and eat.
